Meeting Topic: Bridge Builders Belinda Chiu and Jennifer Strauss Gurss will lead an interactive synthesis session where participants can reflect on their virtual program and discuss ways to apply the experience to their work. They will also discuss opportunities for continued engagement during the interim programming period.
Meet Your Speakers
Dr. Belinda Chiu is a proud member of the IVLP family, having worked as a Program Officer for a former National Program Agency in Washington, DC. Founder of Hummingbird research coaching consulting, she facilitates workshops for global organizations on leadership, inclusion, and belonging, and serves as visiting faculty, teaching fellow, and executive coach for organizations such as the Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College, True North Leadership, the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute, and the World Economic Forum. A member of Laughter on Call and Valley Improv, she brings shared laughter to build healthier (and happier) communities and is thrilled to be a Bridge Builder. Her pink-nosed puppy may make an appearance from the North Woods of New England.
Jennifer Strauss Gurss has been with the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in various capacities since 1983. For many years, she was responsible for designing and implementing IVLPs, but for the past 10 years, has had the pleasure to accompany participants as they traveled in person throughout the United States. Since Covid-19 pushed IVLP to the virtual realm, Jennifer has sought to bring the same energy, curiosity, and joy to the virtual world. She is thrilled to be a Bridge Builder for this project and looks forward to sharing herself and the United States with the participants, as they share themselves and their home countries with each other.
